Kyle Richards recently spoke about her plans for the upcoming season 14 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. During her appearance on Amazon Live on April 16, 2024, Kyle said:
“It’s always something I decide last minute, sort of.
Previously, she had expressed the desire to take a "break" from TV on E! News.
In her Amazon Live appearance, Kyle Richards also reacted to Crystal Kung Minkoff's exit from the Bravo show. She said:
"It made me sad, of course."
For the unversed, Kyle has been an integral part of RHOBH since it began in October 2010, while Crystal only joined in season 11 which started airing in May 2021. Even though the two have shared their screen only for three seasons, their bond becomes apparent from Kyle's statement.

In the Amazon Live clip, Kyle Richards addressed the recent reports of her return to the RHOBH show that have been circulating online. She mentioned that the decision for the show is yet to be made:
"I haven’t said anything yet. I know there’s reports online that I’m not coming back, I am coming back. That conversation actually is TBD".
Richards also admitted to not wanting to talk about her plans for coming back to the Bravo show when she said:
"I don’t know. I mean, yesterday, we spoke in a group, all of us, about Crystal. We didn’t talk about everyone else. So, I just honestly haven’t even wanted to talk about that".
Earlier in her interview with E! News on April 10, 2024, Kyle Richards had shared her thoughts of wanting to take a break from the show, after her and Mauricio Umansky's separation was documented on RHOBH season 13 and then on Buying Beverly Hills season 2. Kyle said that even though she was relieved about their separation phase being over, she wanted a break from the show.
However, in the same interview, Kyle Richards was optimistic about welcoming back Denise Richards and Kathy Hilton to the show, which indicates that Kyle might still choose to come back to the reality TV show.

Despite feeling sad about Crystal's departure from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle also understood that Crystal might have other priorities and that there are things to do outside reality TV too.
"I have kind of mixed feelings, not because of her, just because I’m like, yes it’s probably disappointing, but also life’s great without reality television. It’s not like, 'Oh my God, poor Crystal.' She has a great family and there is a lot to say for not doing that," Kyle stated.
The first Asian American woman on the show, Crystal Minkoff, announced her exit from the upcoming season 14 of the show in an Instagram video posted on April 15. She called her exit very bittersweet and said:
"Never did I think I would be asked to do this show in a million years, let alone film it for three seasons."
In her Amazon Live appearance, Kyle also said that she found out about Crystal's exit from the show only a day before, and added that she didn't know of her other co-stars' status of returning to season 14 yet.
