Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards, who has been with the show for 13 seasons, said in an interview with E! News on April 10 that she wants a break from the show amidst her divorce from Mauricio Umansky.

Kyle and Mauricio's relationship was subject to intense media scrutiny after their separation came out in the public eye on season 13 of the show. The discussions around their split remained relevant when Buying Beverly Hills was released. The show documented the Umansky family's personal, professional, and social lives as they navigated through the split.

"As soon as the reunion finished and wrapped, then Buying Beverly Hills started, so I just kept having in my face over and over again. I’m like, 'I just need a break,'" Kyle said.

In her interview, Kyle also revealed how her four daughters were taking the separation and settling into their new lives.

RHOBH star Kyle Richards opens up about her desire to take a break from TV

Kyle admitted to not wanting to be back on season 14 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after her divorce from Mauricio Umansky caused a heavy media frenzy. Kyle's marital life had been on public display for all 13 seasons of RHOBH and two seasons of Buying Beverly Hills, so her separation from her husband of 29 years shocked fans and sent the internet into a frenzy.

Kyle Richards said she has been so wrapped up with one reality show after the other that she doesn't even want to think about season 14 of RHOBH. She also admitted to saying, "Too soon, guys," whenever someone spoke about it.

Kyle then addressed the relief she felt since her divorce phase on reality TV had ended, and she had now found her place away from her ex-husband.

"I feel some relief, absolutely. It was really difficult because when we first started the season, Mauricio and I really didn't know what was going on, where we were going to end up. Obviously, we're in a different place now," she said.

Even though Kyle Richards has talked about taking a break from the upcoming season, she hasn't confirmed her exit from the show altogether. She, in fact, spoke about welcoming ex-RHOBH stars Kathy Hilton and Denise Richards back on the show, which hints at her return to the show. Her statement about finding relief after her divorce phase is also an indication of her possible return to the franchise.

What did RHOBH star Kyle Richards share about her daughters' reaction to their split?

Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky share three daughters: Alexia, 27; Sophia, 24; and Portia, 16. Kyle's daughter from her previous partner, Farrah, 35, also lives with them.

Kyle talked about how her four children reacted to the shift, saying they gave her the strength to cope better.

"They're doing really well. They're all really strong girls. They're strong, they're confident, they're smart. They've been a really strong pillar of support for me to lean on during these times. They were really looking out for me. That was really nice," she added.

The personal and professional lives of her four daughters are well documented in Buying Beverly Hills, which captures the happenings of Mauricio's real estate company, The Agency. Its recent season two showed how their split impacted the family business and how the girls were dealing with it.

Both the seasons of Buying Beverly Hills are available to stream on Netflix.
