Love Island USA returned with a new episode on June 9, 2025. The segment saw the couples facing new challenges as they contemplated the future of their relationships and deliberated on their emotional and physical chemistry. Taylor, while speaking with Ace, confessed that he was not physically attracted to his partner, Olandria.
"Yeah, there's something there, but the physical attraction. If it's not there, it's not there. I don't know how to even get that physical attraction," Taylor said.
Taylor had coupled with Olandria in the recent recoupling ceremony, saying she was the one he connected with the most. However, during his one-on-one with Ace, he admitted that their connection lacked the physical spark.

Ace, upon hearing that, urged Taylor to "step up," stating Olandria would not "wait forever," and would leave him as soon as a new 'bombshell' (newcomer) arrived.
Olandria, in the meantime, prepared breakfast for Taylor to show him how much she liked him. Love Island USA fans on X commented on Taylor's opinion of his and Olandria's physical chemistry. While many criticized him, saying he did not value Olandria enough, others hoped she would find someone new to couple with.

Shortly after Taylor chatted with Ace, he sat with Olandria to have his breakfast. Olandria opened up about the status of their relationship, saying she could not help but worry about their pace.
She noticed there was a stark difference between her relationship and those of the others, wondering what had gone wrong in hers.

The Love Island USA star concluded that their actions were not matching their words "at all." She then told Taylor that a slow-burn romance might not be the best option for the show since everything happened fast in the villa.
Later in the conversation, she informed Taylor that she wanted him to show affection, even if it was as "simple" as putting a hand on her leg. Although she did not want to put pressure on him or rush him into making a decision, she hoped he would consider her suggestion seriously.
Later in the Love Island USA episode, during a private conversation with the male islander, Olandria stated that she wanted to be "valued" and "appreciated." With that said, she confessed she did not feel secure in her connection with Taylor.
