Selling the OC season 3 is set to release on May 3, 2024, on Netflix. All eight episodes of the highly anticipated season will be available for streaming simultaneously on the platform. Continuing the blend of reality television and real estate, the upcoming season promises to delve deeper into the lives and careers of fan-favorite real estate agents such as Kayla Cardona, Brandi Marshall, Tyler Stanaland, and more.

Viewers can expect to see Brett and Jason Oppenheim leading their Oppenheim group, which consists of several enterprising real estate agents. The third season was confirmed in January 2023, with Jason Oppenheim sharing the news on his Instagram account. In the post, he wrote—

"Netflix just announced that Selling the OC will be back for two more seasons! Get ready for Selling the OC seasons 2 and 3 and Selling Sunset seasons 6 and 7. They like to keep me busy… here we go!"

What is Selling the OC all about?

Selling the OC is a spin-off of the highly popular reality TV series Selling Sunset. Created by Adam DiVello for Netflix, the show provides a closer look at the daily proceedings of the high-end real estate brokerage firm Oppenheim Group. With its primary base in Orange County, California, the firm also maintains other offices in Newport Beach and West Hollywood. The official description of the Netflix show states—

"The Oppenheim Group expands to Orange County, where an all-new real estate team shows off lavish oceanfront listings and big personalities make waves."

The Netflix show revolves around a group of determined and enthusiastic real estate agents and follows them around as they make expensive real estate deals. Brett and Jason Oppenheim, as the leaders of the Oppenheim group, are always on the watch to ensure that their real estate agents land the best deals and ensure client satisfaction.

The first season of the show premiered on Netflix on August 24, 2022, featuring a total of eight episodes. The show quickly captivated audiences and earned acclaim, prompting Netflix to renew it for a second season, which subsequently aired on September 8, 2023.

The trailer for the third season dropped on April 4, 2024, offering audiences a glimpse into what lies ahead. The trailer hinted at million-dollar agreements, a falling out between Tyler Stanaland and Alex Hall, and a feud between Austin and Sean as a few of the directions that the new season might take.

Following a lot of back and forth in the second season, audiences eventually witnessed Alex and Tyler kissing in a hot tub. But based on the trailer for season three, it looks like Alex and Tyler aren't meant to be together. In a heated moment in the trailer, Alex accuses Tyler of ghosting him. Tyler tries to defend himself by stating that they are no longer on the same page. They are once again seen sharing a kiss towards the end of the trailer.

Since the trailer for season 3 prominently features Tyler and Alex's arguments, the upcoming season can be expected to focus on their relationship disintegrating. A rivalry between Sean and a few other agents, most notably Austin, is another development that can be anticipated, as they are seen locked in a heated exchange outside the premises of the Oppenheim Group office.

The other agents are expected to try their best to land high-end deals, such as the past deal for the $75 million Davina home, and in the process, dish out entertaining reality TV moments.
