Jared Freid's journey to fame
Jared Fried was born on February 21, 1985, according to famousbirthday.com. He was raised in Needham, Massachusetts, which is a small suburban town near Boston.
Hailing from a Jewish family, Jared attended a Hebrew school and also went to several Jewish summer camps. His grandmother was the president of the synagogue, so both of Jared's parents were fairly religious.
He went to Needham High School, then moved to Pennsylvania State University to finish his graduation in economics. After starting his career at an insurance firm, Jared moved to New York City to pursue his dream of being a stand-up comedian.
