CBS is set to release its latest series, a medical drama, Watson, on January 26, 2025. The show is directed by Craig Sweeney, who is known for having created Elementary and Limitless, and it offers a fresh take on the Sherlock Holmes universe. The show blends medical cases with investigative elements, delivering a modern twist on classic Holmesian storytelling.

The series features Morris Chestnut as Dr. John Watson, six months after the death of his partner, Sherlock Holmes, who was killed by Moriarty. In the series, the doctor pulls away from solving crimes and becomes the head of a clinic treating rare disorders. However, his past continues to challenge him.

Eve Harlow, Peter Mark Kendall, Ritchie Coster, and Rochelle Aytes play supporting roles in the upcoming show. The show will release new episodes every Sunday from February 16, 2025, following the release of the first episode on January 26, 2025.

The CBS medical drama is set to debut on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at about 10 pm ET. After its debut, the series will release episodes each week starting on February 16, 2025, at 9 pm ET, tentatively.

Thus, CBS as a whole will have a solid schedule on Sunday night with Tracker at 8 pm and The Equalizer at 10 pm, being the key shows.

Watson is produced by CBS Studios, with Craig Sweeny as the showrunner and executive producer. Sweeny also wrote the premiere episode, setting the foundation for the show’s storyline.
