HasanAbi responded to the post by alleging that the Stake-backed livestreaming platform "dumps money" on prominent streamers to perpetuate a "false belief that the average Joe" can earn money through livestreaming:

"every single one of these accounts Is basically doing promo for kick. all the blue check mark power farmers. its a way to try and lure people into streaming there. kick dumps money on rich and famous streamers laps, causing the false belief that the avg joe will also generate $$"

The Turkish-American personality then encouraged aspiring streamers to use TikTok to "grow an audience" before directing their viewers to Twitch or YouTube livestreams. Describing Kick as a platform where "only weirdos" broadcast, HasanAbi remarked:

"If youre an up and coming streamer, try to use tiktok to grow an audience, then lead them back to twitch or youtube streams. theres a reason why only weirdos stream on kick. twitch has the best community functions + rev(saying this as someone whos been banned a million times)"

"Smaller streamers can earn the same per viewer as big names" - Kick co-founder responds to HasanAbi's X post

Kick co-founder Bijan Tehrani responded to Hasan's claims that the platform promotes a "false belief" among regular people that they can make money through livestreaming.

Claiming that the "average Joe streamer" earns significantly more per viewer on Kick, and that the platform's partner program has a "low barrier to entry," Bijan Tehrani said:

"The “avg joe” streamer earns significantly more per viewer on Kick and it’s not even close. The point of Kick Partner is low barrier to entry. Smaller streamers can earn the same per viewer as big names, and with multistreaming, there’s zero risk."
