The news comes about a year after they lost an unborn child due to complications during Ellerie's previous pregnancy.

For those unaware, back in April of 2023, Ricegum uploaded a video on YouTube titled Baby Girl, where he broke the tragic news of how he and his girlfriend were mourning the loss of their unborn child. Ricegum is a veteran YouTuber with over 10 million subscribers on his main channel on the platform. He had stopped making regular content and last year's heartbreaking news about losing his child in the womb was how he made a comeback and soon signed a Rumble contract.

However, even that did not last for very long. Earlier this year at the end of March, Ricegum revealed that he was done with streaming and explained that it was taking too much out of his life. Revealing that he had completed the stipulations of his Rumble contract by making content on the platform for a year, the streamer essentially stopped his normal broadcasts.

The content creator has also remained relatively silent on social media and the first major news in months came when his girlfriend Ellerie Marie posted photos of him cradling her baby bump with the caption:
