Twitch streamer Matthew "Mizkif" has announced that he will not be livestreaming on Kick, as the organization he co-founded, OTK (One True King), intends to host some of its events exclusively on the platform. At the 10-minute mark of his livestream on June 12, 2025, Mizkif made it clear that he had no intentions of broadcasting on the Stake-backed platform.
Claiming that Kick's owner "made him try to kill himself", the 30-year-old said:
"Let me make myself very clear! Okay? I am not going to Kick. Period, exclamation mark. I will not go to Kick. Period, exclamation point. Period. That's it. That's all you need to know. I will not go. Why? I've had times where I've thought about it. I've had times when I think about it. Their owner made me try to kill myself. I will not go to Kick. I'm good. That's it. Period. I'm good!"
Mizkif also stated that other content creators can switch platforms to Kick because he "understands how the world works":
"Can other people go? Go for it! I understand how the world works. Go, make your money. Go, do your thing. Go, live life. I don't care! Go to Kick. Do whatever you want. I don't blame streamers for ever going to Kick. Go for it. You want to make money? That's what this job is for."
Mizkif added that he "would never live with himself" if he decided to livestream on Kick:
"Me personally? I can't do it. Wouldn't do it. It's not about morals. It's not about anything else. That's just it. I would never live with myself. Period. That's it. So, no, I'm not going. And that's it."

OTK made headlines on June 12, 2025, when reports surfaced suggesting that the organization would start hosting its events exclusively on Kick. Furthermore, it was reported that the events will also feature Zack "Asmongold."
TipsOut, OTK's CEO, provided clarification on the situation via a post on X. While disclosing that only some of the events will be broadcast exclusively on Kick, TipsOut stated that streamers affiliated with the collective will "continue to stream where they are comfortable and host events on their existing platforms."
