Salters, ESPN’s longtime sideline reporter, was notably missing from Game 2 of the NBA Finals between the Indiana Pacers and OKC Thunder, while White was absent from the Fever’s matchup against the Chicago Sky on Saturday.

Putting an end to growing speculation, Breen clarified that Salters had stepped away due to a family emergency. He revealed that her mother has been unwell and the respected journalist is currently tending to personal matters.
