About Oklahoma City Thunder Depth Chart

The Oklahoma City Thunder Depth Chart contains a treasure trove of young and promising talent, making them one of the must-see teams to watch in the 2023-24 NBA season. Spearheaded by the two-time NBA All-Star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, this Thunder roster brims with potential, as the bright future is bright in OKC. Gilgeous-Alexander's outstanding maturity and terrific offensive skill set, and presence of other promising youngsters, make the Oklahoma City Thunder depth chart stand out in the Western Conference.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, affectionately called “SGA” epitomizes the complete package of two-way skills required to succeed as a point guard in today's NBA. SGA is an offensive machine as there seem to be no limits to his scoring prowess, whether it's driving to the basket, hitting pull-up jumpers, or sinking shots off the dribble from perimeter. Gilgeous-Alexander has now flourished into a great leader and can guide the young Thunder with confidence.

Alongside him in the backcourt is the Australian sensation Josh Giddey, known for his highlight-reel passing and versatility. Giddey and SGA form a lethal combo guard duo, capable of wreaking havoc on opposing defenses.

At the small forward position, the Thunder rely on the defensive prowess of Luguentz Dort, a lockdown defender who is a high percentage three-pointer shooter. Dort’s 3-andD presence on the perimeter complements SGA's attacking style and Giddy's playmaking abilities. In the power forward slot, sophomore Jalen Williams brings his never-ending energy and explosive athleticism. J-Dub is an excellent cutter and great at scoring on transition opportunities. Anchoring the center position is Chet Holmgren, a unicorn center standing at 7'1" with the ability to stretch the floor with his three-point shooting while also protecting the paint.

Off the bench, sharpshooter Isaiah Joe provides instant offense with his scoring ability from the distance, while rookie combo guard Cason Wallace who was a lottery pick in the 2023 draft, gains valuable experience and opportunities to contribute. Newly acquired veteran Gordon Hayward adds scoring punch and leadership off the bench, while Bismack Biyombo provides rebounding and rim protection as a backup center.
