About Toronto Raptors Depth Chart

The 2019 NBA champion Toronto Raptors are gearing up for a promising 2023-24 season with an impressive depth chart. As a potential dark horse in the Eastern Conference, the Raptors are led by RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley. The trades to acquire Barrett and Quickley have injected new energy and hope for Raptors fans.

The Raptors' depth chart is anchored by shooting guard and small forward RJ Barrett, nicknamed the "Maple Mamba." Bringing vast experience, Barrett will lead the team from the front. He is known for his powerful dunks and finishes at the rim. Joining Barrett is the versatile point guard Immanuel Quickley, who was acquired in a mid-season trade during the 2023-24 campaign. Quickley can easily drain threes from downtown and is renowned for his persistent passing on the court.

The recent midseason trade also brought Kelly Olynyk to the Raptors. He is now in his 11th NBA season, and with this, he brings the experience to the court. The veteran is known to guard the rim and also finish at the rim scoring easy points. Gary Trent Jr., a shooting guard renowned for his three-point prowess, completes the Raptors' starting lineup.

In a midseason trade, the Raptors acquired small forward Ochai Agbaji from the Utah Jazz. The young roster player will provide depth at the small forward position.

The Raptors' bench is led by Bruce Brown, who replaces Immanuel Quickley and adds valuable minutes. Rookie shooting guard Gradey Dick, standing at 6 feet 6 inches, will use his height to score easy points around the rim. Another young roaster, Jordan Nwora, also provides valuable minutes from the bench and protects the rim. Finally, rookies Javon Freeman-Liberty and Mouhamadou Gueye will contribute valuable court time for the Raptors.

Under the guidance of head coach Darko Rajaković, the Raptors' depth chart may not lead them to the playoffs, but they have the potential to be spoilers for many teams in the Eastern Conference. With a mix of veterans and promising young talent, the Raptors aim to surprise their opponents in the 2023-24 season.
