Chet Holmgren was born in the home of David Holmgren and Sarah Harris. He had grown to 6ft 9in by 9th grade. Chet belongs to the white ethnicity and he is Christian by religion. His father also played college basketball for Minnesota from 1984 and 1988. Chet grew up playing basketball under his father’s supervision. He attended Minnehaha Academy in sixth grade. It is a Christian private school in Minneapolis. Chet Holmgren averaged 6.2 points and three rebounds each game as a freshman at Minnehaha Academy. Hence, Chet helped his team win the Class 2A State championship two times consecutively. Also, he averaged 18.6 points and 11 rebounds each game in his sophomore season. It has not been a long-time since Chet Holmgren’s inauguration in the NBA league. After playing for his high school and college, Chet was selected for the NBA in 2022.
