VCT Game Changers Championship 2024 has been exciting so far. After the first couple of days, viewers have had a chance to watch every team play on the big stage. Day 2 kicked off with a match between EMEA's GIANTX and Brazil's MIBR. The Bo3 (Best-of-three) started quite competitive as both teams had a string of round wins. However, the same could not be said about the second map where MIBR dominated their opponents. The Brazilian squad ultimately won with a 2-0 scoreline.
After the match, Sportskeeda Esports' Sneh Jadhav got the opportunity to talk to GIANTX's sarah, during which she said:
"I am definitely more confident."
GIANTX's sarah talks about her confidence compared to last year in VCT Game Changers Championship 2024
GIANTX is among the strongest teams in this event, featuring experienced pros and rookies who consistently put up amazing performances throughout the year.
During GCC 2023, Sportskeeda Esports talked to Sarah "sarah" Ahmed, who was making her first international appearance with G2 Gozen. We asked her about her overall experience playing on the global stage for the first time. To this, sarah talked about how she felt nervous going into every match but still managed to have fun while playing.
So, after GIANTX's match against MIBR, Sportskeeda approached her again to ask her how she was feeling about this event as now she is among the more experienced GC pros. Here's what she said:
"So far it's the same. But I am definitely more confident this time"
As a result of their defeat against MIBR, GIANTX has entered the lower brackets of the tournament, where they will face China's Ambitious Legend Gaming in an elimination match.
