In many ways, it’d be impossible to even consider writing a list like this without including The Miz, because he’s just been that damn good. His renaissance most certainly began in 2016 with the help of his wife Maryse, and through that hard work, he was able to earn a big-time mixed-tag Mania match against John Cena & Nikki Bella.

The outcome may not have been great but aside from that, Miz has continued to set the bar for all other upper midcarders out there. The Awesome One has always been the best choice to carry the Intercontinental Championship, and despite not having Talking Smack as a platform anymore, his promos have gone from strength to strength.
