#10 Kevin Owens replaced At Australia Super Showdown

Kevin Owens,
Is Kevin Owens really done with WWE?

Kevin Owens shocked the world on The August 27th edition of Monday Night Raw when he abruptly quit the company and while it is going around that this is just a storyline, WWE seems pretty committed to keeping it going. In fact, Owens, who was originally scheduled for a tag team match with Elias against John Cena and Bobby Lashley has now been removed

According to Wrestlinginc.com "WWE has updated their preview for the Super Showdown match with John Cena and Bobby Lashley vs. Kevin Owens and Elias. Super Show-Down takes place on Saturday, October 6 from Australia. We've noted how Owens "quit" on Monday's RAW but that is just a storyline as he's currently signed to a five-year deal."

#9 Bray Wyatt refresh

Bray Wyatt,
Who's ready to see Bray Wyatt get repackaged again?

How does WWE go about making Bray Wyatt great again?

While The former WWE Champion used to only need his sensational microphone abilities and athleticism to take him to the top of the card, it hasn't been working out that way for quite a while now. Of course a lot of that has to do with how Wyatt was bogged down during his feud and partnership with Woken Matt Hardy, but his actions haven't helped things either.

In fact, between having an alleged affair with Jo Jo Offerman and failing to pay child support, Wyatt is getting in a lot of trouble and some believe that has also contributed to his booking in WWE. Whether that is true or not remains to be seen, but it is at least worth noting that some are speculating that Wyatt returns with a slight refresh in character.

According to The WrestleVotes Twitter account, which is said to have broken countless stories in the past," Bray Wyatt is in line for a slight refresh to his character. They wrote, "The character should remain in tact once he returns to TV, but I'm expecting a renewed push along with a singles baby face run. Pivotal time in his career ahead."

#8 Velveteen Dream Heat.

Velveteen dream, WWE,
Apparently
Velveteen dream is not being demoted and Vince McMahon isn't upset with him!

There have been rumors that NXT superstar, Velveteen Dream was facing backstage heat after wearing Vince Call me up on his pants during his match at NXT Takeover Brooklyn IV, but that appears to not be the case. Fans speculated this due to him being booked for The Evolve 112 and 113 pay per view, which they view as a punishment.

According to Gabe Sapolksy on twitter,"Let's just kill this narrative now. Dream was requested by us because of his history at the MCW Arena in Joppa, MD. We wanted a homecoming. He was then asked to do Queens, to give the fans something special at La Boom. Dream was not "sent" by anyone, he agreed and wanted to."

He then went on to say that,"This is WWE helping the independent wrestling scene. This is WWE, EVOLVE and Velveteen Dream giving fans a unique, memorable and exciting experience. This is what is good for our business. Thank you."

#7 Neville contract details

Neville, WWE,
Why did it take so long for Neville to be released from his contract?

Neville was a guy with a lot of potential. In fact, he was the first ever NXT Champion and went on to become one of the first guys to win The Crusierweight title on 205 Live as well. Unfortunately for The WWE Universe, Neville wasn't happy with his position on the card, which he had every right to be and walked out on the company in October of last year.

According to Dave Meltzer from Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE waited so long to finally release Neville due to the fear of him going to NJPW, which was what the company thought he would do. This apparently caused WWE to freeze his contract for an entire year to send a statement to the locker room that superstars couldn't just walk out on their contracts.

With that being said, Neville is now free to negotiate with other wrestling company's and while some believe he will sign a new deal with WWE, there are others that don't see that as a possibility at all. In the end, there is some speculation that he will show up at The All in pay per view, but Neville is staying mum on the subject for now.

#6 The Rock at Smackdown Live 1000

The Rock, WWE, Smackdown Live,
Will The Rock appear at Smackdown Live in October?

According to The Barnburner podcast, WWE is currently in negotiations with The Rock to make an appearance at Smackdown Live 1000 on October 16th and are apparently very close to striking a deal. Unfortunately its not known whether he will wrestle or not, or who he will be involved with, but it should make for an interesting bit of television nonetheless.

Not only is that evident by the absolute ratings grabbing segments The Rock has done in the past, but also by how special a appearence from The Rock really is for WWE. It will also help showcase how big of an accomplishment 1000 episodes of Smackdown Live is, which will definitely help cement its legacy overall.

#5 Becky Lynch heel turn

Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, WWE,
This feud between Charlotte and Becky Lynch is straight fire!

According to WWE Rumor Roundup on Cagesideseats.com" Lots of talk WWE has pivoted away from booking Becky Lynch as a heel, instead opting to let audiences decide how they want to react in her feud with Charlotte Flair. Bryan Alvarez discussed this on Wrestling Observer Live, saying her run-in and use of the word “bitch” on this week’s SmackDown were designed to get a pop."

Interestingly enough, another rumor from John Pollock and Post Wrestling claims that WWE is shying away from the heel and babyface dynamic between the two and trying to give both sides valid points in the feud. Pollock also claims that WWE is trying not to portray Charlotte as a heel, which is probably a good idea with her being one of the biggest faces in the division.

In the end, this might be WWE's best beat, especially with fans refusing to turn on Becky Lynch and it could be an interesting way to elevate both superstars in the process. Not only that, its much better content and build then what WWE did with Carmella over the past few months, which is a huge upside to all of this!

#4 Kurt Angle return

Kurt Angle, WWE,
Kurt Angle seems to be set for a
in ring
return in the coming months, but against who?

According to PWInsider.com" WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has been training "very hard" for a planned return to the ring for WWE. There's no word yet on who Angle might face. On a related note, there is no backstage heat on Angle and the current vacation from RAW is just a storyline. Angle was backstage for Monday's RAW in Toronto.

Some believe that the person he faces will be Baron Corbin, who has been butting heads with Angle lately on Monday Night Raw, but again, nothing has been made official yet. With that being said, Corbin versus Angle would be a great money feud for WWE, especially in the midcard and could be the thing that finally launches Kurt Angel's career.

#3 Paul Heyman's future.

Paul Heyman,
What's next for Paul Heyman without Brock Lesnar?

Who's Paul Heyman's next project?

The question has been an enticing one for The WWE Universe ever since it was revealed that Brock Lesnar was leaving WWE to pursue UFC again and while there are a lot of rumors floating around about what's next, nothing is concrete yet In fact, Heyman hasn't even been seen on television in weeks, which is a sign that the company has no immediate plans.

Interestingly enough, according to The Wrestling Observer newsletter," there is continued talk by WWE of Paul Heyman being on television going forward. The show also claims that there has always been talk of putting Heyman with Ronda Rousey, which would probably be the most logical choice.

With that being said however, Bobby Lashley, Kevin Owens and a few other superstars are also rumored to be the next Paul Heyman guy, but again, nothing concrete has happened as of yet to show one way or another. In the end, maybe something will develop over the coming months and be a huge surprise for fans, but for now, WWE doesn't seem to want to pull the trigger on this.

#2 Roman Reign's next opponent.

Drew McIntyre, Roman Reigns,
It looks like Drew McIntyre will be Roman Reign's next opponent for The Universal Title.

What does the future hold for Roman Reigns now that he has captured The Universal Title at Summerslam for the first time in his career? While his immediate future seems to involve a Hell in a Cell match against The Monster Among Men, Bruan Strowman, it appears that it won't be a long term plan and WWE will eventually scrap Strowman from the main event.

Interestingly enough, according to SI.com, Drew McIntyre will be Roman Reigns's next opponent for The Universal title, which means that Strowman will most likely lose his match up with Reigns at Hell in a Cell. Furthermore, there are rumors that WWE wants Reign's title reign to last for awhile, but WWE has changed plans before and could again.

#1 Rock Versus Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 35?

The Rock, Roman Reigns,
Rock versus Roman Reigns. Who wins?

Believe it or not, there are a series of rumors going around that Roman Reigns will face The Rock in the main event of WrestleMania 35. The match would mark the fifth straight time WWE has had Roman Reigns in the main event of their biggest show and could be the thing that sets up Reigns as the company's top guy for quite awhile.

Joe Peischich of Barnburner Radio believes this is WWE's plan for WrestleMania 35 and Ringsidenews.com is reporting that The Rock is currently in negotiations with WWE to make an appearance at The Royal Rumble next year and follow that up with another appearance from The Great one at WrestleMania 35

This, along with the rumor of WWE wanting Roman Reign's title reign to last a while seems to point to Reigns keeping the title until WrestleMania 35. Either that, or they could pull The Shield breakup early, have Ambrose or Rollins take the title and then go ahead and put Reigns on a collision course with The Rock at WrestleMania 35.
