#9 Longest title reign of the modern era - Pete Dunne

Pete Dunne won the United Kingdom Championship almost two years ago

Pete Dunne has been one of the biggest stars on the UK scene over the past few years and he was able to prove that his dominance straight off the bat when he defeated Tyler Bate at NXT Takeover: Chicago back in 2017, in what was Bate's first Championship defense.

Dunne has since reigned his division in WWE over the past year and a half and has defeated all comers which most recently has included Adam Cole, Ricochet and even Johnny Gargano. The NXT UK division has been pushed forward on recent months and Dunne has now become the face of an entire country which could be why WWE has allowed the star to continue his reign as Champion, a reign that has now reached an impressive 579 days.
