Kofi Kingston is now the longest reigning solo tag team Champion in WWE history

Kofi Kingston has been a WWE superstar for more than a decade and in that time he has had a number of Tag Team partners which has led to a number of Tag Team Championship reigns. Whilst Kingston was part of The New Day a few years ago the trio broke Demolition's record as the longest reigning Tag Team Champions in history, but it wasn't until this year that he was able to break a record of his own and become a solo record holder.

Kingston and The New Day have dominated the Tag Team Division on SmackDown Live throughout 2018 and the former United States Champion is now the longest reigning solo Tag Team Champion in history with an impressive record of more than 975 days.
