You don't always have to hate Mondays

It goes hand in hand, doesn't it? A WWE pay-per-view and a Sunday night. Especially a WrestleMania and a Sunday night, but it wasn't like this all of the time. As crazy as it sounds today, WrestleMania 2 took place on a Monday.

WrestleMania 2 was an experimental event for Vince McMahon. Not only did it take place on a Monday, but it also happened at three different venues in three different cities, New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. The event was a lot of work and it taking place on a Monday did worse rather than better, so it has remained strictly on a Sunday ever since.
