This worked much better than it should have

La Familia was an incredibly successful faction that never got the recognition it deserved. Led by World Heavyweight Champion, Edge, and Vickie Guerrero, they were joined by Chavo Guerrero, Zac Ryder, and Curt Hawkins to form a group that dominated ECW and Smackdown.

Chavo won the ECW Championship while Ryder and Hawkins picked up tag team gold with Edge keeping gold of his World Title. For a team that won everything, they sure are overlooked in most discussions about wrestling stables.
