#9 WWE legend Santino Marella (as Santina Marella)

"Santina" was the comedic act of the 2020 Women's Royal Rumble match
  • No. of TV/PPV matches in 2020: 1
  • Final/only 2020 match: WWE Royal Rumble 2020 - Women's Royal Rumble match
  • Age during that match: 45 years, 10 months and 12 days

This might be ridiculous, but the records say that the 29th entrant of the 2020 WWE Women's Royal Rumble match was "Santina Marella". WWE chose to give the fans a comedic act instead of an actual woman wrestler in this big match. This decision received mixed-to-negative reactions from fans and critics alike.

2020 was the second time "Santina" appeared; at WWE WrestleMania 25, "she" won the "Miss WrestleMania" Battle Royal by last eliminating Beth Phoenix. The "Santina Marella" gimmick lasted two months (April-June 2009) before "she" was fired (in storyline), and Santino appeared again as himself for five more years.

In the 2020 Women's Royal Rumble match, "she" only lasted one minute before eliminating "herself", making Santino Marella one of the oldest competitors who participated in a match during 2020, though he didn't perform a single maneuver.
