The build for the WWE Championship match in New Orleans has been interesting, to say the least, with AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura both attempting to get inside the mind of their opponent. It’s made for some interesting television on SmackDown Live, but now, it’s time for the real show to begin as they attempt to improve upon their contest at Wrestle Kingdom a few years back.

For this booking step we want to see something very simple: Nakamura shuts off Styles’ lights with the most impactful Kinshasa of all time. We want to see AJ actually kick out of the finisher to begin win, over for Nakamura to knock him out cold in order to finally win the strap. Then, you could have Styles turn heel on Shinsuke 48 hours later, setting up a blockbuster rematch at the next pay per view.
