On November 12, 2019, CM Punk made his return to pro-wrestling, but not as a competitor. It was revealed at the end of a WWE Backstage episode that Punk had joined the show as an analyst and special contributor. This was a big deal as Punk had been away from WWE for the last five years or so.

#5 Stone Cold poses with Mike Tyson after winning the WWE title at WrestleMania 14
Austin and Tyson
At WrestleMania 14, Mike Tyson turned on DX and made the three count that aided Stone Cold in defeating Shawn Michaels to win the WWE title. The Austin Era had begun and Michaels was on his way to take a four-year hiatus.
Minutes after Austin's win, he and Tyson talked with journalists in a post-show press conference, and the duo posed for some pictures as well. Tyson's appearance was instrumental in WWE getting an upper hand in the Monday Night Wars as the boxer still had major mainstream appeal at the time.

Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
