#1 Some WWE Superstars are excited about Ronda Rousey's arrival...

Perhaps the biggest news this week was the arrival of Ronda Rousey. She's seemingly signed a full-time contract with the company, and will be furthering the legacy of Roddy Piper, in her own way.

Jinder Mahal spoke out favourably about her arrival in an interview with MMAJunkie:

She’s a wrestling fan and I know she has a passion for the business, which is sometimes the hardest thing because sometimes people just come from the outside and they don’t have the passion for it. It’s just a one-time deal — oh, WrestleMania — and it’s a big paycheck—that’s awesome that she’s signed full-time, (and) just like she dominated the UFC, she’s going to dominate pro wrestling.

As did one of Rousey's best friends in the locker room- Natalya, in an interview with 'The Trend':

With Ronda, yes, she absolutely does has to prove herself, but I know Ronda personally, I'm friends with her. Ronda has expressed that she more than anything wants to prove herself and she really wants to bring even more attention to the women of WWE, and I think it's going to be incredible for all of us.

Unfortunately, not everyone in the locker room was nearly as thrilled.

#2 ...Other WWE Superstars were not!

Some superstars felt that she overshadowed the Women's Royal Rumble

Ronda Rousey's arrival got a lot of worldwide press. So much so, that some women in the locker room seemingly felt a tad jealous of being shunned from the limelight. They believed that she overshadowed the historic Royal Rumble match. They went on to Twitter, and let the fans know about how outraged they were:

Some have speculated online that this is all a work. If so, we're curious to see how this storyline develops. Will the whole locker room be booked to be stand up against Rousey?

#3 Rey Mysterio was thrilled about his Rumble appearance

Mysterio was thrilled to be back
Mysterio was thrilled to be back

Perhaps the biggest surprise of the Royal Rumble not named Ronda Rousey was Rey Mysterio. He seemed like he was in tremendous shape, as he returned to a loud ovation. Mysterio spoke his mind after his arrival. He couldn't be any happier.

This is what Mysterio had to say:

It's incredible, it's been almost three years since I've heard that WWE fan reaction and to be honest with you, a lot of people say it's luck, a lot of people say it's awesome to hear that but I'll tell you, I'm truly blessed, I'm truly blessed to come back and realise that the fans don't forget you.

#4 Molly Holly was impressed by Charlotte Flair

Didn't she look great in the Royal Rumble?
Didn't she look great in the Royal Rumble?

The Women's Royal Rumble gave today's superstars a chance to go toe-to-toe with the women that had paved the way for them. Molly Holly had a chance to mix it up with several WWE superstars. Yet, she was full of praise for one woman, who wasn't actually in the match. This was the SmackDown Live Women's Champion, Charlotte Flair.

This is what she said about the second generation superstar in an interview with Wrestling Inc.:

These are things normally done by girls when they're five-foot-one and eighty pounds. But the fact that she can do them and she's so big is remarkable. I remember the first time I saw Brock Lesnar do this top-roll thing, and I was like, 'What? Wow! But he's huge!' So that's how I feel with Charlotte.

#5 Brock Lesnar sent a message to Braun Strowman

What did Lesnar tell Strowman before he knocked his lights out?
What did Lesnar tell Strowman before he knocked his lights out?

One of the biggest talking points from the Rumble was the little altercation between Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman. A knee from Strowman accidentally hit Lesnar on the side of his face. Strowman would retaliate and knock Strowman with a stiff punch. The world was aghast when the altercation went down.

What's even more amusing is this Tweet from Justin LaBar. Check out what The Beast told the Monster Among Men, after they tangled. Who do you think would win in a shoot fight between the two men?

#6 Rollins shot down rumours of heat with Finn Balor

There's no real heat between the two men!
Rollins confirmed that there's no real heat between the two men

Even though WWE deals in scripted entertainment, so many superstars in the company's glorious history haven't liked each other in real life. Whether it's Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels, Eric Bischoff and Ric Flair, and even more recently Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks, very many performers have had their differences.

Rollins opened up about their rivalry, or lack of it, on the Des Moines Register, shooting down all rumours of heat between the two men:

Finn and I obviously have a competitive rivalry based on the fact that we're both world-travelled athletes. We've been doing this for a long time and we both have our eye on the same prize, which is being the best, being the Universal Champion. Every time we get the opportunity to step into the ring with each other, we're going to push each other to be the best and to go to that next level. There's definitely no personal animosity there, I think we're just trying to push the limits of what's the best wrestling that you can see on TV is.

#7 Nakamura spoke about WrestleMania 34

The Artist plans to have a classic contest with AJ Styles
The Artist plans to have a classic contest with AJ Styles

AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura had a great match in Japan. They get to recreate that magic on a stage like WrestleMania 34, as well. The Rockstar and the Phenomenal One could have a Match of the Year contender when WrestleMania comes around. And they haven't even locked up yet!

We're all just as excited as Shinsuke Nakamura is. And at this point, we wish to say adieu. We will catch you again next week, for more hot and happening WWE updates!
