Kofi Kingston holds the record of being the tag team champion in the WWE for the maximum number of days. However, the New Day member has a poor record of 1-8 at WrestleManias. His last appearance was at WrestleMania 34 where the New Day lost in a triple threat tag team match for the SmackDown tag team championships. The New Day had even lost tag team matches at WrestleMania 31 and 32.

Kingston was also eliminated from the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royale at WM 30 and WM 31. He was a part of the losing team in the 12-man tag team match at WrestleMania 28.
