10 things professional wrestlers did after getting drunk

The business of professional wrestling is a stressful one as performers spend upwards of 300 days on the road and away from their loved ones. This sort of drifter lifestyle leads to men and women in the industry turning to substances like alcohol in order to escape reality and have a little fun once in a while.

Unfortunately, this fun can sometimes turn into ugly situations or hilarious situations depending on who is involved in these proceedings. Today, we're here to check out some of those infamous instances. After all, the life of a professional wrestler is as interesting outside the ring as it is inside the ring, and we're all curious as to what to goes down after a few beers.

#10 Drew McIntyre and Alberto del Rio get into a fight

McIntyre and del Rio got caught up in a brawl

Years ago, when Drew McIntyre was in his first run with the WWE, he and Alberto del Rio were on a night out when things took a turn for the violent.

After another patron at the bar made lewd comments about McIntyre's date, del Rio shot back verbally only to have a bottle broken over his head.

This obviously led to a full-fledged brawl between all the men involved although the two wrestlers are said to have done more of the damage.

#9 The Undertaker knocks out a guy

Taker used to be a party animal

The Undertaker loves to party. Not too much these days, but back in the 1990s and early to mid-2000s, he had a good time with his locker room buddies who comprised of the infamous BSK backstage group. He has a tattoo of the group's name on his stomach as well.

On one of these nights out, Taker -- on his way to the restroom -- was being harassed by a guy so he decided to take matters into his own hands and knocked him out with just one punch. Well done, Taker.

#8 Brock Lesnar gets angry

Why would you want to piss this guy off?

Why would you want to get Brock Lesnar angry? Just look at the man. Who in their right mind would ever want to annoy "The Beast Incarnate"? No one. That's why a drunk man decided to do it instead.

At a crowded bar counter, he grabbed Brock's drinks out of his hand and claimed them for himself. Lesnar calmly explained the situation only for things to escalate.

Stemming off the back of a bar argument, he decided to break some drinks over Lesnar's head. Brock, being the monster that he is, allegedly took him out saying, "Someone went to sleep and it wasn't me," when asked about it later.

#7 The Big Show breaks someone's jaw

It's real, guys!

If you were wondering if Big Show can actually knock out someone with one punch, look no further than this. The big man allegedly broke someone's jaw in a bar fight after things turned sour.

It all started with a man insisting that Show was neither very large nor very tough and although the giant tried to calm him down, he decided to shove "The World's Largest Athlete". Bad move. One punch later, he was left with a broken jaw and actually ended with Show having to appear in court.

#6 Andre the Giant wrestles drunk

Andre loved a drink

Well, everyone knows about Andre the Giant's jovial attitude and love for having a good time but it was that same attitude that caused him to have a bit too much from the old bottle and screw things up in an actual wrestling match.

This was in Japan before his days in the WWE and Andre completely ruined a match against his opponent, no-selling moves, laughing and joking around for over half an hour.

The match finally ended in disgrace with the boos of the audience members inciting a mass brawl for the ages.

#5 William Regal urinates on a flight attendant

You don't want to "piss off" William Regal

William Regal who was famous for his love of the devil's drink back in his day once endured a hugely embarrassing situation where he got so drunk on a flight that he ended up urinating on a flight attendant. Here is what the current GM of NXT had to say about it:

I was rather 'out West' on booze. I went into the plane toilet and I had my foot in the door, which hadn't shut. I was relieving myself when the hostess tapped me on the shoulder and I spun round. Next thing I know I wake up in a jail cell, in Anchorage, Alaska, when I should have been in Detroit.

I had no memory of why I was there. I was in an orange jumpsuit and was handcuffed to another guy and taken to court. They were going along the line of prisoners reading out charges. I was laughing, thinking, 'This is all a terrible mistake'. Then they read my charge out: 'Urinating on a flight attendant.'

This is not one incident that Regal will like to look back on fondly.

#4 The Plane Ride from Hell

Perfect and Lesnar were key components of this disaster

The incident now dubbed the infamous Plane Ride from Hell occurred back in 2003. During a flight, Mr Perfect, who had recently returned to the company, and Brock Lesnar, the new up and coming star, both got absolutely walloped and decided to engage in an amateur wrestling bout.

The pair got caught up in the action and in the booze and nearly unhinged the emergency exit causing some serious worry and issues on the flight. Lesnar was saved as the new star of the company but Perfect was fired shortly after the incident.

#3 Andre the Giant flips over a car

Yeah, you don't wanna mess with this dude

We've already been over Andre the Giant and his love for alcohol once already and here is another incident involving the gentle giant.

When out for a night of drinks, he was allegedly harassed by a group of four men who managed to get a reaction out of the typically calm Andre. So, they fled to the safety of their car.

Instead, they got treated to a first-row view of a monstrous feat of strength as Andre just flipped over the car with all the occupants still in it in order to gain his revenge.

#2 Jeff Hardy goes on a CM Punk rant

During the height of Jeff Hardy's addictions, he decided to go on a rant against CM Punk. It was clear that the pills and the booze had addled his brains and Hardy pulled no punches in taking shots at Punk and his Straight Edge lifestyle and claiming he made Punk the star he is today.

#1 Vince McMahon

Bret Hart told the story of Vince getting drunk

Vince McMahon? Drunk?. According to Bret Hart's autobiography, Vince McMahon decided to get drunk and turn up at the same strip club as the WWE wrestlers were at one night on the road.

The boss then decided to get into amateur fights against members of the roster. Most of the wrestlers, including Hart and Mr Perfect, let the boss win. But, one WWE Superstar by the name of Hercule beat Vince instead of taking a loss.

McMahon apparently said, "If I remember this tomorrow, you're fired," and left. A few days later, Hercule was released from his contract.
