The Revival wanted to be at the forefront of tag-team wrestling

The topic of tag-team wrestling thriving right now came up in the conversation, brought up by Chris Jericho. Cash Wheeler agreed with this and said that the biggest factor for them leaving WWE was that tag-team wrestling is now featured heavily in every major promotion apart from WWE. However, despite promises of focusing on the division, WWE never got to it.

He added that they couldn’t wait on the sidelines and wanted to prove how good they are to show the world what they can do. He added that in his opionion, The Revival are one of the best tag-teams in the world and wanted to show it.

At another point in the show, The Revival had spoken about how WWE didn't respect tag-teams while citing the example of Braun Strowman destroying everyone in the division at one point.

The WWE tag-team titles were also discussed and they said that since the division was treated so poorly. in their opinions, the titles did not hold much weight.
