Bam Bam Bigelow saved three children from a house fire
There was no question about how tough Bam Bam Bigelow was when he was inside a wrestling ring but he proved just how tough he was outside of it back in 2000 when he risked his life to save three children from a fire near his home.

Bigelow recalled that he saw the three children playing with firecrackers outside of their home before they caused a fire. He said he did what any other person would do when he ran in to save them.
The story doesn't have the happiest of endings though since the former ECW Champion suffered second-degree burns over 40% of his body.
The injuries forced him to retire from wrestling after he had spent two months recovering in hospital from his injuries.
