Shinsuke Nakamura should have won The WWE Title by now

The WWE Universe has wanted to see Shinsuke Nakamura win The WWE Title for a while now, the company still hasn't pulled the trigger on it yet. Of course, they let him come close at WrestleMania 24 and followed it up with a jaw-dropping heel turn, but that still didn't take away from the fact that he lost.

What also didn't help that loss is how poorly he was booked as United States Champion and the way he ultimately lost the title to Rusev. If nothing else, it has been a downward spiral for Nakamura lately and while some fans still stick by the King of Strong Style, others are wondering what made him so great to start with.

In the end, if WWE could just make Nakamura a babyface again and put him back into the title hunt, he would make the perfect people's champion. Beyond that, it would be a great way to keep him in the company's fold and not lose him to competitors like NJPW, AEW or ROH.
