Roman Reigns had his first singles match since recovering from Leukemia at Wrestlemania 35.

After having to step away from the WWE to overcome a recurrence of his Leukemia, Roman Reigns returned with perhaps the best crowd reaction he has received in years on Raw.

The goodwill seems to have continued to follow Reigns as he picked up a major victory against the Chosen One Drew McIntyre on the grandest stage of them all. McIntyre had boiling heel heat, which may have helped, but the boos Roman often receives were absent Wrestlemania 35.

The two men told a compelling story in the ring centred around whether or not Roman Reigns was truly at 100% physically after his illness. The answer was a resounding yes as Roman fought back repeatedly from the brink of defeat and finished off the Scotsman with a brutal superman punch followed by a spear.
