Mark Curtis was a referee in WCW during that promotion's final years. Sadly, he passed away in September of 1999 due to cancer, and his ashes were scattered in the opening pyros of WCW Monday Nitro.

While seemingly mild-mannered and not all that threatening, Mark Curtis was known for his quick reactions when a foolish mark tried to enter the ring during a match. Seeking to protect the athletes from an individual with unknown, possibly violent intentions, Mark did what he thought best - he kicked the fan in the head and choked him out!
