Despite having a powerful build and a top-notch costume and gimmick, the Boogeyman failed to get over with the WWE Universe despite several attempts on both the heel and face side of the fence.
Why the WWE doesn't need his services: For one, he was a sloppy, reckless worker and injured his opponents frequently (he once botched a clothesline and gave JBL a dozen stitches in the mouth.) For another, his extreme gimmick never covered up his other shortcomings, like being difficult to understand when he spoke (partially due to a cleft palate.)
