WWE went all in on Carlito, letting him defeat John Cena and capture the US title in his first official match for the company. Unfortunately, it was all downhill from there and Carlito slid slowly down the card until he was released after a wellness policy violation.
Why WWE shouldn't hire him back: Carlito is a talented wrestler, but he seems to have little ability to control his inner demons. Substance abuse issues and a bad attitude backstage have sullied any decent reputation he might have had, and the company has nothing to gain by employing him any longer.
