#4. AJ Styles

WWE Champion AJ Styles has had one hell of a month. He began the month by defeating Samoa Joe at Super Show Down in an amazing No Holds Barred match. At the very same event, Daniel Bryan became the #1 contender to his title. He had 4 matches on Smackdown Live this month including a WWE Title Defence against Daniel Bryan on the Halloween edition of the show.

He got a singles victory over Shelton Benjamin before losing in two back to back episodes to The Usos. His partner in those matches was none other than Daniel Bryan. The two finally settled their feud on the final episode of the month and had a fantastic match which AJ won by submission. AJ's victory celebrations were cut short as a returning Samoa Joe attacked Styles and got himself a Championship match at Crown Jewel.

AJ's ability to deliver great matches continued as he had two amazing matches this month. Also, AJ's WWE Championship reign is currently at 357 days and counting. If he retains against Samoa Joe at Crown Jewel he will be holding the Championship for over a year. Only Brock Lesnar Universal Championship reign and CM Punk's 2011-13 reign has been longer than AJ's in the modern era.
