Dolph Ziggler has always been regarded as one of the best in-ring performers in the WWE, and he's had much success since being reintroduced into the WWE in 2008 (after a not-so-memorable run as a member of the Spirit Squad) and has gone on to win the Intercontinental, US as well as the WWE Championship.

And he has achieved a lot of his success on SmackDown. He won his first Intercontinental title on SmackDown when he defeated Kofi Kingston in 2010, on SmackDown.

He has 200+ matches on SmackDown and held the Intercontinental Championship and the United States Championship in his last run on SmackDown before being drafted to RAW in 2018.
