It takes years for many wrestlers to make it to WWE, whilst others are able to skip a number of the steps and make their debut in WWE when they are still in their early 20s.

Paige was famously the youngest ever Divas Champion when she made her way to WWE's main roster back in 2014, but it appears that there are now stars in the company even younger than the British star.

There is no correct time to begin training to be a WWE star, but it appears that this following list of wrestlers knew from a young age that this was the dream job that they wanted.

Here are the 10 youngest stars in WWE at present, this list includes stars from NXT and NXT UK.

#10 Tegan Nox - 25 years old

It's been a tough few years for Welsh star Tegan Nox, who suffered her third leg injury in two years last month and is now expected to be out for around a year. Nox has suffered from torn ACL's for most of her WWE career and the last one sidelined her for more than a year.

Nox was recently pushed to the top of the Women's Division in NXT as part of her feud with Dakota Kai, and proved that she has what it takes to be NXT Women's Champion. This is another huge setback for the star, but at just 25 years of age, Nox has a bright career ahead of her and will come back stronger and hungrier in the near future.

#9 Velveteen Dream - 25 years old

Velveteen Dream came through the ranks in WWE as a contestant on Tough Enough back in 2015. At 25 years old, the star has already been a member of the WWE locker room for five years and is seen as one of the stars of the future.

It's been a rough 2020 for Dream away from the ring, but he has continued to prove that he has what it take to make it to the main roster and to push his controversial character as far as he can go.

Dream is already a former NXT North American Champion and could easily be NXT Champion at the turn of the year.

#8 Toni Storm - 24 years old

Toni Storm is already a veteran of 10 years in pro wrestling and has been working her way up to WWE since her pro wrestling debut back in 2009. The former NXT UK Women's Champion has now been able to make the switch over to NXT, where she stated that Toni Time was coming at Takeover: 31.

Storm has already proved her worth in the Mae Young Classic where she was victorious back in 2018. The star, who originates from New Zealand, found her love of wrestling at just 10 years of age. And now 14 years later, she is on course to become one of the women who could become a star in the coming years.

#7 Humberto Carrillo - 24 years old

Humberto Carrillo has already been able to work alongside his idol Rey Mysterio on WWE TV, after stepping into the feud earlier this year. That being said, the former NXT and 205 Live star is yet to make a real impact on WWE TV since it appears that his cousin Angel Garza has come out as the bigger star in their feud.

Carrillo remained on Monday Night Raw in this year's WWE Draft, while Mysterio was drafted to SmackDown. Hopefully, this will now give the 24-year-old a chance to make an impact on the red brand based on his own talent.

#6 Rhea Ripley - 24 years old

Rhea Ripley has been part of WWE for just three years and she's already made history. Ripley is a former NXT UK and NXT Women's Champion and a woman who many believe will be the Charlotte Flair of the next generation.

Ripley has taken WWE by storm and even though the Australian star was unable to defeat Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania back in April, she became the first woman to defend the NXT Women's Championship at The Show of Shows. It's hard to believe Ripley is just 24 years old and has only been wrestling for seven years, and the future only looks bright for The Nightmare.

#5 Tyler Bate - 23 years old

Tyler Bate first made waves in WWE back in 2017 when he became the first-ever WWE United Kingdom Champion. Bate was just 19 years old at the time and became the youngest ever singles Champion in WWE history.

Since then the British star has had some incredible matches on NXT against Pete Dunne, where he lost the United Kingdom Champion to The Bruiserweight. Bate has since been part of NXT UK where he has continued to have impressive matches, including his United Kingdom Championship match against WALTER back at Takeover: Cardiff.

#4 Dominik Mysterio - 23 years old

Dominik Mysterio isn't a stranger to WWE TV since he was part of a feud between his father Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero back in 2005 when he was just eight years old. 15 years later, Mysterio has followed in his father's footsteps to become a WWE legend and is now the youngest active wrestler on the company's main roster.

As part of the recent 2020 WWE Draft, Dominik was drafted over to SmackDown along with his father and Seth Rollins, so the current feud is expected to continue for the foreseeable future.

#3 Austin Theory - 23 years old

Interestingly, Austin Theory was once the youngest star on WWE's main roster after being brought up to RAW by Zelina Vega. He was later recruited by Seth Rollins. Theory then became one of The Monday Night Messiah's Disciples, before disappearing from WWE TV earlier this year.

Theory has since resurfaced in NXT and looks as though he is set to remain as part of the Wednesday night show for the time being. At just 23 years of age, Theory has a bright future ahead of him and plenty of time to climb back up to the main roster.

#2 Xia Brookside - 21 years old

Xia Brookside, much like Paige, was seemingly born into this business since her father Robbie Brookside is one of the trainers at WWE's Performance Center. After being trained by her father, Xia made her wrestling debut when she was just 16 years old and made waves in the independent circuit.

She first came to WWE when she was just 19 back in 2018 as part of the second Mae Young Classic, even though she was defeated in the first round by Io Shirai, she became a part of the NXT UK roster. At just 21 years old, Xia potenially has a lengthy career ahead of her in WWE.

#1 Aalyah Mysterio - 19 years old

Aalyah Mysterio is currently the youngest on-screen talent in WWE, after being brought in to be a part of the storyline involving her brother Dominik and father Rey Mysterio, and Seth Rollins. Aalyah has become the love interest of Murphy on RAW in recent weeks but hasn't been seen since her brother and father were drafted to SmackDown last week.

Unlike her brother and father, Aalyah isn't a trained wrestler and hasn't signed a contract with the company at the time of writing.
