#2 Former WWE Champion CM Punk loves Rancid, H2O, The Clash, Misfits, Bouncing Souls, and others

CM Punk is well-known for his straight edge way of living. Behind the scenes, Punk is a huge fan of punk and hardcore music and has used the elements of both to develop his in-ring character in WWE and overall personality.

During an interview with Phoenix New Times, Punk spoke about music that influenced him and the bands he loves listening to.

“I will never ever stop listening to Rancid, H2O, Bouncing Souls. I'm kind of a stubborn old straight edge guy, and it takes me awhile to get into some of the new straight edge bands, like Ceremony or Have Heart. But I've got so many friends that are in bands involved in the scene and they keep me up to date on stuff, it just takes me a little while to pay attention to them and listen to what they're telling me to listen to.”

“Oh my god! Top five bands of all time? (whistles) That's a big deal... In no particular order: The Clash, Misfits, Faith No More, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and Minor Threat.”

Not only does Punk have a refined taste in music, but he has also managed to make some friends in the music industry.

Brock Lesnar isunlike any other WWE Superstar in the history of the business. We haven’t seen too many interviews of Lesnar where he’s spoken about things he likes and dislikes, however, in a rare interview with Metal Injunction, he revealed his favourite bands.

Lesnar revealed that his favourite bands include Metallica, Motley Crue, AC/DC, and Twister Sister.

The interviewer asked Lesnar who he’d pick as his tag team partner from the music industry. After a little bit of thinking, The Beast claimed that he’d pick the legendary Rob Zombie to tag with him during a wrestling match.
