#2 Batista

The Animal
The Animal

Batista is undoubtedly a great opponent for the Game. Though Batista is not an active wrestler, he could come back for a match at the Grandest Stage of Them All. In fact, Batista dropped a hint when he appeared on the 1000th episode of SmackDown Live. Triple H and Batista had a face-off, and they could lock horns at Metlife Stadium.

Batista was a leading name in his prime as he produced several memorable feuds in his career. The Animal made his WWE debut in 2002, and he won the WWE title six times and tag team titles four times. He has also won the Royal Rumble match twice in his illustrious career.

The 50-year old is busy with his movie career, and he has attained notable success in Hollywood. Nevertheless, numerous superstars return for WrestleMania, and he could be back for another match. Batista returned in 2013, but he did not have a fruitful run. Though he won the Royal Rumble match in 2014, the WWE Universe turned on him.

Triple H and Batista have a long history, and they have had many memorable bouts in the past. The former Evolution members main-evented WrestleMania 21, but The Game has never pinned Batista at the Grandest Stage of Them All, but that could change in New Jersey.

#1 Dean Ambrose

Ambrose
Ambrose

Dean Ambrose is an ideal opponent for Triple H, and they could lock horns at the show of shows. Ambrose is currently part of the red brand, but he is scheduled to leave the company after WrestleMania 35.

Ambrose teased a rivalry with Triple H when the two superstars had a verbal altercation on Raw last month. Triple H could bring the best out of Ambrose if the two superstars start a feud.

Ambrose is one of the biggest superstars of the modern era. He made his WWE main roster debut in 2012, and he was an essential member of the Shield. The Lunatic Fringe has won the WWE title once, Intercontinental title thrice, tag team titles and the US title once. In fact, Ambrose is a Grand Slam Champion.

Considering Ambrose and Triple H had a match in the past, it is not a new rivalry. They faced each other in 2016 when Triple H pinned Ambrose at Roadblock. However, they never had a long rivalry, and they can culminate a remarkable feud in New Jersey.

The two elite superstars have exceptional mic skill, and they are proficient in the squared circle. Hence, Triple H could be a great rival for Ambrose before the latter leaves WWE in April.
