Bray Wyatt was absent from both RAW and SmackDown since defeating Finn Balor at SummerSlam. Bray’s absence upset a lot of fans as they expected him to appear and increase the momentum he had gained at SummerSlam.
According to Ryan Satin, Bray didn’t appear on screen because WWE want to make his character feel special. They want to make it seem that he can attack from anywhere at any moment.
Making him Roman Reigns’ attacker will easily accomplish this without taking him away from the screen. The story WWE should tell is that if Bray is willing to attack the Big Dog, then no one is safe from him.It would also show the fans that despite his twitter apologies, Bray is still willing to go after anyone.
WWE has recently announced that Bray will be making an appearance at the next episode of RAW and this is a perfect place for him to launch another attack on Roman Reigns.
If WWE play their cards right, they can plant the seeds of the reveal on the upcoming episode of RAW. They can have a member of the Firefly Funhouse at the scene of the next attack. They might even show one of the puppets trailing Roman Reigns in the back.
