Will Conor McGregor show up at WrestleMania 35 with Becky Lynch next year?

If the heartbreaking departure of WWE's top babyface, Roman Reigns, was not enough, the recent injury of Becky Lynch and The Monster Among Men, Braun Strowman, has left WWE reeling.

Given Strowman was scheduled to face Baron Corbin at TLC, his recent injury has given WWE Creative a new headache. Also, the current Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar, would possibly show up after TLC to build upon his feud for Royal Rumble. This has left WWE very limited options when it comes to legit draws and star power.

On another note, given the recent turn of events, WWE has been buzzing with a lot of rumours and speculations.

What happens to Braun Strowman?

What's next for Brock Lesnar?

As of late, social media has been buzzing with speculations and predictions.

Well, today we take a look at 2 recent rumours that should come true and 1 that should not.

#3 Shouldn't come true: Braun Strowman losing to Brock Lesnar at Royal Rumble

Braun Strowman is scheduled to face Baron Corbin at TLC, however, as per latest developments, he has seriously injured his elbow, and looks doubtful for TLC.

As per the reports of Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Strowman would be good to go by January, facing Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at Royal Rumble.

However, given WWE is planning Seth Rollins vs Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 35, this could only mean a loss for The Monster Among Men at Royal Rumble.

Strowman has been a top name on the red brand, and has the capacity to draw people and become a legit megastar, but creative have undermined him in the past, and a loss at Royal Rumble may prove to be the final nail in the coffin for Strowman.

#2 Should come true: Brock Lesnar vs Seth Rollins for Universal Championship at WrestleMania 35

According to reports of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is planning to have The Beast Brock Lesnar vs The Architect Seth Rollins for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 35.

While Rollins is currently scheduled to take on his Shield-brother, Dean Ambrose, for the Intercontinental Championship at TLC, Lesnar is not involved in any major feud or storyline. However, Seth may go on to lose the title to Ambrose at TLC, and then feud with Lesnar next year leading up to 'Mania for the Universal Championship.

Also, WWE is keen on including Roman's health angle as a major part of the storyline in their mouth-watering feud.

Rollins has in fact faced Lesnar at WrestleMania in a triple threat match involving Roman Reigns, when he cashed in his Money in the Bank contract at WrestleMania 31. However, a one-on-one match-up with The Beast Incarnate at the prime of his career looks mouth-watering.

#1 Should come true: Conor McGregor teaming up with Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 35

McGregor has been a polarising figure all over the globe

Becky Lynch in her recent tweet teased a possible WrestleMania team up with The Notorious One. While giving props to him, The Man fired a verbal volley, saying she would break his arm in two seconds. McGregor replied her cheekily, asking her to call him when she needs back-up.

Although Conor McGregor has been quite vocal against WWE Superstars, especially John Cena, Triple H has hinted a possible recruitment of The Notorious One on several occasions in the past.

Given the absence of a few top draws in the likes of Triple H and Roman Reigns, WWE might bring Conor McGregor on board for a one-off match at WrestleMania 35.

Becky Lynch teaming up with her fellow Irish native at WrestleMania 35 could well prove to be 'best for business'.
