WWE veteran Kane recently spoke with Yahoo Sports to promote his new book, "Mayor Kane: My Life In Wrestling and Politics". The former World Champion went into detail on how WWE was incredibly supportive of his jump to politics, and added that Vince McMahon has been a large part of his life.

At WWE Badd Blood 1997, Kane made his debut and prevented The Undertaker from winning the first-ever Hell In A Cell match against Shawn Michaels. Over the next several years, Kane carved a Hall of Fame career for himself in WWE, won several titles, and competed in a string of high-profile matches.

Kane later made a jump to politics, and bagged the mayoral seat of Knox County in 2018. While talking with Yahoo Sports, Kane opened up on WWE supporting him in his political career by accommodating his schedule at all times.

WWE has been very supportive of me. One of the first people I spoke to was Vince McMahon because professionally and personally, he's been a very large part of my life. Throughout the campaign, they lessened my travel demands. They worked so hard to accommodate my schedule. Being mayor is my first priority and they worked to make sure it stayed that way. I'm very grateful.
