Buddy Murphy's new friend looks to take Mustafa Ali out of title contention

Tony Nese cut a promo backstage, saying that Ali made a mistake answering his challenge. The Premier Athlete said tonight is not about Ali, but about his chance to make an impact and an impression.

Another promo video played of TJP, claiming yet again that he plans on jumping to another brand to become a "Heavygreat," and when it comes to Drake Maverick, he'll be the one that got away.

Mustafa Ali vs Tony Nese

As Mustafa Ali made his way to the ring, Vic Josephs talked about Ali's gift of one of his masks to one of his fans over the week, proving that he is the "Heart" of 205 Live.

Nese came out next, counting his abs again. However, he wasn't alone, as Nese said that he had better friends than Ali, and Buddy Murphy came out behind the Premier Athlete.

Murphy attempted to get the jump on Ali with Nese, but Cedric Alexander made the save, coming to the side of Mustafa Ali. The referee told Alexander and Murphy to exit the ring, and Ali and Nese started the match.

Nese forced Ali into the corner, overpowering him before landing multiple body shots and an elbow to the jaw. Nese tossed Ali across the ring with a back body drop before gloating in front of Alexander.

Ali took advantage of Nese's arrogance, forcing him outside. As Nese attempted to get back in, Ali knocked him off the apron with a spinning heel kick. Before he could capitalize, Murphy interfered, keeping him away from Nese. As Ali jacked jaws with Murphy, Nese took him out from behind and threw him into the ring post before throwing him back into the ring.

Nese slung the "Heart of 205" into the turnbuckle, following up with a clothesline and a body scissors, locking Ali down in the middle of the ring. Nese hammered Ali's chest while he held Ali down with the body scissors, but Ali fought out.

Nese went for a belly to back suplex, but Ali countered into a crossbody. Nese then chased Ali into the corner, who dodged and caught him with a kick, followed up by the rolling facebuster, getting a two-count.

Ali chopped Nese's chest, followed by a tornado DDT attempt. Nese pushed him off, then delivered a combination of kicks. Both cruiserweights then took each other out with clotheslines, while Murphy and Cedric Alexander tried to get their partners back to their feet.

Nese stood up in the corner, dragging Ali to the top rope. Ali caught Nese with a dropkick and attempted a hurricanrana from the top, but Nese countered, following Ali to the ground with a running clothesline. Nese brought Ali to the mat with a pump handle slam, only managing a two-count.

Nese set Ali up for the Running Nese, but Ali landed a superkick, laying Nese out cold. Murphy dragged Nese to the outside before Ali could attempt the 054.

Ali dove over the ropes to take out Nese as Alexander and Murphy fought across the arena. Alexander got the better of Murphy, driving him back up the ramp. Ali got back in the ring first, but Nese rolled him up into a pinning position before turning it into a powerbomb into the middle turnbuckle.

Nese nearly kicked Ali's head off, leaving him dazed in the corner. Nese went for the Running Nese one more time with the knee pad down, but Ali evaded yet again, catching the Premier Athlete with the tornado DDT, followed up by the 054 for the win.

After the match, Ali spoke on the microphone, telling Drake Maverick that he wants a triple threat match with Hideo Itami and Buddy Murphy next week. Ali continued to celebrate in the ring as we cut back to Drake Maverick, who said that next week's main event will indeed be Mustafa Ali vs Buddy Murphy vs Hideo Itami.
