Former Cruiserweight Champion TJP made his way to the ring next, and the announce team talked about TJP's recent social media posts, asking for a chance on Smackdown Live. TJP rolled around his opponent with ease, dabbing in Christopher Guy's face as he continued to outwrestle him.
TJP then hit Guy with an arm breaker before repeatedly tossing him into the turnbuckles, followed by a suplex to belly-to-back suplex combo, ending with a tope atomico.
Guy broke out of the pin and hit TJP with a dropkick, followed by a roll up, but was countered by TJP into a dropkick of his own.
TJP hit Guy with a surfboard stretch stomp followed by the Detonation Kick for the quick win.

TJP was interviewed after the match, saying that not only was he the first Cruiserweight Champion, but that he was the best Cruiserweight Champion. He also said that he elevated the 205 Live brand, and believes that if Drake Maverick can't provide better competition, he'll look elsewhere for a chance.
