Brock Lesnar is one the best to have stepped inside the squared circle as well as one of the most fearsome. The man has won multiple world titles in the WWE and also successfully transitioned to MMA where he won the UFC Heavyweight Championship.

We take a deep dive on Brock Lesnar today, taking a look at some rarer photos of Brock Lesnar throughout his life and career.

#22 Hyping up The Deadman

We start off with an iconic moment backstage. We see Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker in the photo, right before their match at WrestleMania 30 where ‘The Beast’ broke The Undertaker’s legendary streak.

In the photo, we see Lesnar hying up The Undertaker in Gorilla Position right before they were about to go out. In a later interview, Jim Ross said that even Brock Lesnar was hesitant about breaking The Deadman’s streak and asked to lose the match, but Vince McMahon’s mind had been made up.

#18 Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle in Japan

Brock Lesnar was IWGP Heavyweight Champion in 2006. After a disagreement with NJPW, the promotion stripped him of his title. However, the IGF (Inoki Genome Federation, a promotion formed by Antonio Inoki) still continued to recognize his title reign and he was recognized as their version of IWGP Champion. In 2007, he wrestled Kurt Angle in a title vs title match in IGF’s first event. Angle ended up winning the match to leave as both IWGP Heavyweight Champion and TNA World Heavyweight Champion. This photo was taken right after that match.

#17 Brock during his brief NFL stint

Brock Lesnar left WWE in 2004 to pursure his dream of playing in the NFL. After impressing in the combine, Lesnar was picked up by the Minnesota Vikings and made it until the last round of the cut-offs. The Vikings offered Lesnar the chance to play in NFL Europa but ‘The Beast’ ended up declining.

Rousey is a former RAW Women’s Champion while Shayna Baszler is a former NXT Women’s Champion and is now on the red brand. Brock Lesnar is one of the most physically imposing WWE Superstars of all time. He built his incredible physique working on his family farm from a young age.

In 2001, when Lesnar was still in OVW, he was arrested and falsely accused with the possession of steroids. It eventually turned out that the stuff in Lesnar’s possession wasn’t actually steroids and he managed to beat the felony charge. Lesnar’s lawyer had been adamant that his client had been innocent throughout the proceedings and proved to be right. Thankfully this ordeal did not end up hurting Lesnar’s career one bit.

At the time, WWE were experimenting with Ventura, being Lesnar’s manager. It seemed a logical step with both men being from Minnesota but WWE decided that it wasn’t working.

Lesnar would go on to make his televised debut on RAW in March 2002. He went on to win his first WWE Championships a few months later at SummerSlam, beating The Rock in the process. Lesnar went on to become one of the best to have ever entered the squared circle and even successfully transitioned to MMA.
