The main event of this week's RAW was between Roman Reigns and Finn Balor for the Universal Championship, earlier in the show Strowman went to Balor and said "good luck tonight", and everyone had a hint about what he was talking about.
When the match began, both wrestlers performed well and at one time it felt like Balor was going to win, but Strowman came out, and due to the distraction he caused, Balor lost the match.
He then came to the ring and cashed in his MITB contract, but before the bell rang, The Shield's music hit and Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins came out in their old outfits. They received huge pops from the crowd, and the trio attacked Braun Strowman. In the end, they gave the Triple Powerbomb to the monster. Strowman is still the Money in the Bank holder.
