#1 The Undertaker
While a couple of legendary names participated at SummerSlam, one titanic name skipped the show this year: The Undertaker. Although The Phenom is not a full-time Superstar, he wrestled at the Extreme Rules PPV, which was held last month. Since the Deadman wrestled just a month ago, his absence from the show was puzzling.
Apart from SummerSlam, the Deadman also skipped WrestleMania which is known to be his own territory. However, he fought Goldberg at Super ShowDown and it turned out to be a disastrous match. Following the performance in Saudi Arabia, The Undertaker might have probably wrestled at Extreme Rules to prove his doubters wrong.
A number of Superstars were competent enough to deliver a good match with The Phenom in Toronto. For instance, Drew McIntyre could have been an ideal choice to face The Deadman at SummerSlam, after having crossed paths at Extreme Rules. Braun Strowman could also have been another credible opponent for The Undertaker at the Biggest Party of the Summer.
