3 Biggest shockers WWE could be planning for Monday Night Raw (25 February, 2019)

As we are heading closer and closer to WrestleMania 35, the WWE is firing on all the cylinders for Monday Night Raw.

Last week, it followed the Elimination Chamber PPV which was a really good show from top to bottom. The events that transpired on the show led to Raw bouncing back over three million viewers for the first time since August 2018.

This week, WWE is advertising a celebration for Ric Flair's 70th Birthday, and the former Universal Champion, Roman Reigns, is making his return for the first time in four months. It is also possible that Brock Lesnar will appear to promote his scheduled bout with Seth Rollins.

Will the streak of great Television ratings continue, or they will go back to being miserable? It all depends on how the creative team lays things out.

Here are the 3 biggest shockers WWE could be planning for Monday Night Raw.

#3 Lars Sullivan finally debuts

Will the NXT's resident monster appear?
Will the NXT's resident monster appear?

The Jack Kirby's illustration comes to life, Lars Sullivan was scheduled to arrive on the main roster about a month ago, but due to some unfortunate circumstances, his debut's put on hold.

Sullivan, 30, didn't have any Title gold in his collection for the time he was in WWE's developmental territory but there are plenty of superstars who have found success on the WWE main roster despite winning any titles in NXT.

Last week, the elite four of WWE NXT made their presence felt on the main roster. The list includes the current NXT Champion Tomasso Ciampa, the former NXT North American Champion Johnny Gargano, Ricochet and Aleister Black.

Every single one of them had a good showing, and they won their respective matches. The only person left to make his debut is Lars Sullivan. Sullivan is the monster that the WWE main roster is truly lacking and no matter how he is booked, Sullivan will be a great addition to the regular cable programming.

#2 Brock Lesnar targets Roman Reigns

The Big dog, Roman Reigns, is set to make his return in this upcoming episode of Monday Night Raw. He will address the WWE Universe about the status of his fight with Leukaemia.

There is a lot of buzz about his return and whether he will announce his in-ring return, or he is just there to talk about his disease is another matter.

If you have watched enough wrestling in your life then you know that the WWE is known for using someone's illness into a storyline to add the much-needed intrigue, and since there are lots of rumours floating around about WWE re-creating a WrestleMania 20-esque celebration angle with The Shield, don't be surprised if they plant the seeds on this episode.

Brock Lesnar interrupts Roman Reigns and when he is about to harm Reigns, Seth Rollins makes the save and sends him packing.

This will put Brock Lesnar over as a merciless beast and it will spike the interest level for his on-going feud with Rollins.

#1 Kurt Angle announces his retirement

Kurt Angle is one of the greatest wrestlers to ever grace the WWE ring. He is now a battered veteran with a bad knee who is at the end of his career.

Kurt made his historic return to the WWE two year ago and was appointed as the General Manager of Monday Night Raw immediately after being inducted into the Hall of Fame.

The Olympic hero competed in a high-profile match at WrestleMania 34 when he teamed up with Ronda Rousey to join forces against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.

Since then the six-time world champion has been a part of plenty of matches with the likes of Baron Corbin, Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre. His most notable performance was against the Scottish Psychopath when he was forced to tap out via his own signature manoeuvre, The Anklelock.

The Fifty-year-old veteran's recent performances indicate that he is way past his prime and in my honest opinion, should call it a career.

Will he make his decision on Raw or will he go out in style by competing at the Grandest Stage of Them All? Let's find out on Monday Night Raw.
