Kevin Owens joined the other two New Day members just two weeks ago when Big E got sidelined due to injury. The Prize Fighter expressed his will to join the New Day on the Kevin Owens Show. Unfortunately, it lasted just one week as Owens shocked everyone by turning on Kofi Kingston.

In all honesty, Owens' run was bland after he returned as a face in Vince McMahon's billion dollar company. However, the excitement of the fans sky-rocketed after he turned heel and it was the highlight of the blue brand last week. Owens has been a bad guy in most of his career, and he brings out the best in him as a villain.

It is no secret Kevin Owens will be the next opponent of the WWE Champion, Kofi Kingston. Considering Kingston has Xavier Woods by his side, the Prize Fighter could get outnumbered by New Day. Hence, we might see a new partner of Owens who could be a credible back-up of the former Universal Champion.

Aleister Black became a member of SmackDown Live after the Superstar Shake-Up, and he could be a surprising partner of Owens. Although Black has been a face after making his main roster debut, he could be utilised more as a heel. Black has a dark shade in his character, and he could be more suitable as a bad guy. Moreover, it could put Black in the WWE Championship storyline.
