The excitement was sky-high for RAW this week, as it was the last edition of the red brand before Super ShowDown. Following a substandard episode of RAW last week, the fans were expecting a better show and the company did not let down the WWE Universe. The flagship show delivered a good show with some stupendous matches and exciting segments.

Brock Lesnar was supposed to cash in the Money in the Bank briefcase, but he did not do it. The Beast Incarnate viciously mauled Seth Rollins, and the Beastslayer was taken out of the arena in an Ambulance. Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley had an arm wrestling contest, which was won by the Monster among Men, but Lashley Powerslammed Strowman.

Roman Reigns and The Usos were defeated by Drew McIntyre and The Revival, while Nikki Cross pinned Peyton Royce. The Wild Card entrant Charlotte Flair collided with Lacey Evans, but the latter won the bout by disqualification when Becky Lynch interfered the match. Triple H and Randy Orton had a face-off and Rey Mysterio relinquished the title to Samoa Joe.

Considering Super ShowDown is just three days away, it was a great episode of the red brand. Here we discuss three things WWE cleverly told us on Monday Night RAW this week.

#3 Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss are coming for the Women's Tag Team Titles

Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss formed an unusual alliance a few weeks ago, which continued this week. Nikki Cross faced Peyton Royce this week and the former was victorious. Considering their alliance on RAW, Cross and Bliss could form a new Tag Team.

Earlier, Nikki Cross offered to co-host 'A Moment of Bliss'. Since creating an alliance with Alexa Bliss, Cross is losing her crazy persona. Cross also replaced Bliss in the Women's Money in the Bank match, as the latter was not medically cleared to wrestle.

Cross and Bliss could be a great addition for the Women's Tag Team division. Following the split of Boss N Hug Connection, the Women's Tag Team division certainly needs some big names. Cross could rejuvenate herself with the five-time Women's Champion Alexa Bliss. Judging by the current storyline, Bliss and Cross could face the IIconics at Stomping Grounds.

#2 Drew McIntyre could help Shane McMahon at Super ShowDown

Shane McMahon is scheduled to face Roman Reigns at Super ShowDown. The Best in the World will be confident before facing the Big Dog in Jeddah. Shane has notable momentum as he won two intense matches against The Miz in last two pay-per-views. Shane defeated the A-Lister at WrestleMania and Money in the Bank.

The rivalry has become exciting between Reigns and Shane. The Big Dog was attacked by Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre a couple of times, and the former managed to dominate Reigns. The scenario was same on RAW this week as Shane McMahon, Drew McIntyre and The Revival dismantled Roman Reigns.

The numbers game could play a pivotal role in this bout. Since Drew McIntyre will be with Shane McMahon at Super ShowDown, he could help Shane against Roman Reigns. However, the Big Dog is known to overcome all the odds. Considering Reigns and McIntyre will square off at Stomping Grounds, it could fuel the rivalry if Shane manages to pin Reigns with the help of the Scottish Psychopath.

#1 Brock Lesnar will become the Universal Champion at Super ShowDown

Brock Lesnar was supposed to cash in the Money in the Bank contract on RAW this week. Paul Heyman, who is the advocate of Lesnar, announced on social media that the Beast would cash in the briefcase on Seth Rollins this week. Lesnar entered the arena when Rollins was on the Miz TV, and it led us to believe that the Beast might cash in the contract. However, it did not happen, and Lesnar failed to keep his promise two weeks in a row.

Lesnar was also supposed to choose his preferred World Champion last week but he did not do it. Although the Beast did not cash in the contract this week, he destroyed Rollins. After Baron Corbin hit an End of Days to Rollins, Lesnar entered the ring. He delivered a low blow to Rollins, followed by some brutal chair shots. Moreover, Lesnar also delivered some German Suplexes and a vicious F5 on the floor.

Despite the golden opportunity to cash in the contract, the Beast did not do it. Paul Heyman was shouting to cash in the contract but Lesnar was repeatedly telling 'Friday', as Super ShowDown is set to take place on Friday this week. Judging by Lesnar's words, he could become a three-time Universal Champion in Saudi Arabia. Seth Rollins cashed in the Money in the Bank contract at WrestleMania 31 and Lesnar could be eyeing revenge on Rollins in a big stage like Super ShowDown.
