3 Biggest things WWE could be planning for Monday Night Raw (4 March, 2019)

Will Ambrose join his brothers?

Last week's episode of WWE Raw pulled all the stops. WWE put on a lot of effort to make the show interesting, and add more intrigue into the Road to WrestleMania.

The Big Dog, Roman Reigns, made his return and announced that his cancer is in remission. The Raw Women's champion Ronda Rousey relinquished her championship title.

In another shock of the night, Batista made his return to the WWE programming taking out Ric Flair on the occasion of his 70th Birthday celebration.

With all the drama that went through last week, this week's show looks to be in good shape but what will the WWE have in store for us in this upcoming episode?

Here are the three biggest things WWE could be planning for Monday Night RAW.

#3 Batista explains his actions

Will Batista return to explain his actions?
Will Batista return to explain his actions?

Batista made his return to the WWE for the second time in four years when he took out Ric Flair last week on Monday Night Raw.

Batista attacked Ric Flair during an ongoing celebration for Ric's 70th birthday. He did that to get Triple H's attention for the match at WrestleMania.

In case you missed it, the feud between the two caught steam when Batista made his return to the WWE at the SmackDown 1000 episode with the Evolution. The group was raving about their accolades and accomplishments, and it was all looking good until Batista targeted Triple H. He took a shot at Triple H for never beating him in a one-on-one match.

Although it sent a lot of excitement among the WWE Universe, the match was put in jeopardy when Triple H got injured in November last year during a match at Crown Jewel.

The "Cerebral Assasin" paired with Shawn Michaels to take on Kane and The Undertaker in a tag team match where they eventually overcame the duo. But during the match, Triple H suffered a torn pectoral muscle and underwent surgery several days later. It was thought that the timetable for his return would be around 9 months and will see him miss WrestleMania 3 5.

But it's all looking good now, and he may end up facing Batista at the Grandest Stage of Them All, and we might see a glimpse of that on this upcoming episode of Raw.

#2 Dean Ambrose returns the favour

A reunion is getting closer!
A reunion is getting closer!

What a night it was for the WWE last week. The former Universal champion, Roman Reigns, made his epic return and The Shield is pretty close to joining forces once again.

Amidst the rumours of Dean Ambrose leaving the company once his contract expires, so much drama has gone through in the WWE. Ambrose turned on Seth Rollins the night his other brother announced that he is battling Leukaemia and since then, he has been in a lacklustre heel run.

But for the past few weeks, we have seen a lot of shift in Dean Ambrose's character, he has been coming out as a sympathetic babyface figure.

Last week, he faced Drew McIntyre in a no disqualification match, which was a rematch from a week ago. Ambrose lost due to a run-in from Elias, and as he was getting beaten up by the reformed trio of McIntyre, Lashley and Corbin, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns made their presence felt and cleaned the house. Although Ambrose was saved from the beatdown, his former brothers left him lying in the ring.

This indicates that The Shield is pretty close to being together again, and they may end up facing the heel team at the Fastlane PPV.

It all depends on Ambrose though. Will he join his brothers? I think WWE may repeat the same scenario they dished out last week, but this time Ambrose comes to the aid and then repeats the circle. The Shield gets back together, and we get a match made for the Fastlane pay-per-view.

And, don't count Braun Strowman out from all the spectacle.

#1 Vince McMahon reinstates Becky Lynch and makes Charlotte Flair vs Becky Lynch for Fastlane

Will Mr McMahon reinstate Lynch?
Will Mr McMahon reinstate Lynch?

The most exciting feud currently going on in the WWE is between Charlotte Flair, Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch.

Since Becky Lynch challenged Ronda Rousey for the RAW Women's title, there has been a lot that has happened since. Lynch got suspended by the Chairman, Flair got added to the title picture, and Ronda Rousey gave up her championship title after getting tired of Becky's mind games.

Even after suspending her, the management couldn't stop Lynch from coming to the shows and ruining things up. Whether it's the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view or an episode of Monday Night Raw, She has been continuously marauding both Charlotte and Rousey.

This week's Raw could see Vince McMahon finally surrendering to Lynch and making a match between her and Charlotte Fair at Fastlane. Whoever wins gets the Raw Women's champion at WrestleMania and the loser looks for other things to do.
